Whenever a new season of an anime comes out there are always otakus who are ready to complain, they can’t enjoy things without pushing out negative things. The first episode of Chainsaw Man was heavily criticized by fans because of the use of CGI during Chainsaw Man’s fight scenes, there were some who loved the idea and then social media was filled with debates after just one episode. Mappa has been heavily criticized for the use of CGI and the fans feel that the 3d revolution will ruin the anime community, they want their anime crisp and clear but not in 3d format.
When there are manga scenes that have a lot of movement, then it’s impossible to do them in 3d to show the impact of the scenes. The complainers should understand the situation and try to enjoy what has been given, if you ask us “Is Chainsaw Man Bas?” then the answer is No!

The fight between Chainsaw Man and the Zombie Devil was amazing, but the fans thought there was too much CGI used in the scenes on his blades. The frame rate can be seen dropping which makes the scene a little different from 2d, if there are sudden changes from frame to frame the anime will look quite different every episode.
Otakus are always ready to complain, even when Toei Animation released Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Movie. The fans complained about the 3d animation and heavy CGI, but the movie earned well at the box office and was loved by the fandom.
Mappa is an animation studio that has been working hard with their employee on giving top-class series, but they are heavily trolled for underpaying their workers and making them work like zombies.

When some of the fans on Twitter were saying that almost everything was CGI in the episode, then Mappa hit back releasing a post that showed the animation process which can be seen done in 2d! If you have read or seen the manga, then you would understand that it would be impossible to depict some of the scenes in 2d. They have to use the CGI for some of the fight scenes, obviously, they won’t waste their own budget animating normal scenes.
Mappa has been used to criticism by the fans of respective fandoms, they will keep delivering what they do best. Let’s hope we get more amazing episodes of Chainsaw Man and less complaining from the fans who watch it free on pirated sites!
