Chainsaw Man came out with its first season in October 2021, the anime series has been on the high viewership since the release. Every episode of the Chainsaw Man Anime was a high rated one and the fandom was happy with the animation studio. Mappa took Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man under their wing, and an anime fan knows just how good they are! They have used the traditional 2D animation with 3D involved, first the fandom was very upset with the use of 3D but later they understood that it was necessary at some parts. In the recent Episode 9 of Chainsaw Man, we saw the battle between Katana Man and our boy Denji.
Fujimoto has designed some of the best characters, the show is filled with devil’s, fiends and hybrids. One of the most awaited characters that made its debut is “Katana Man” this hybrid human devil is formed because of human fear of Katanas (Swords). In Episode 9 Katana Man and Chainsaw Man go full out in a battle, but denji still doesn’t know how to use the full power of his devil powers. That’s why you see Katana Man overpowering chainsaw man. It all started during the fight with Gun Devil, and then the fight started between Katana Man and our MC.
The whole fight had the Fandom on the edge of their seats, during the fight Chainsaw Man was cut into half by Katana Mans swords! This left denji into two pieces bleeding to death, but did Katana Man kill Chainsaw Man? No, but he almost did as if Kobeni wasn’t present to save Denji, the Chainsaw Man would have been dead. It was a hit set on Denji by Sawatari and her thugs who worked for the Gun Devil.
Kobeni uses the powers of her Ghost Devil and pulled Pochita’s string which revived Chainsaw Mans body back to normal. With the powers of Chainsaw Devil denji’s body can regenerate at a very fast speed, also the chainsaw devil is considered to be the most powerful devil to exist. After being revived by Kobeni, Chainsaw Man attacks Katana Man like a crazy devil! He goes all out and doesn’t stop at all, but Sawatari orders the Gun men to arrive at the scene, so Katana Man can keep him busy as they plan to shoot and kill him. When Denji held a hostage from one of the Gunmen, that’s when Katana Man sliced Denji and Gunman in to two pieces. But because of Kobeni’s power of the Ghost Devil, the Chainsaw Man managed to survived and yes that means he is not dead!
